Review on πŸ”© Precision Engraving and Drilling with Titanium Carbide: 0.8-3.175mm by Trevor French

Not worth the price

I use a variety of 1mm diameter carbide end mills in PCB fabrication where fiberglass substrate is the primary cutting material. Most quality nozzles are rated for 200-400 inches of 1.6mm material at 60,000 rpm. These bits would not travel beyond 2 inches of travel before becoming too dull to continue cutting without catching fire. Also excessive chipping and fraying of the edges.

Pros
  • Cutting edge diameter (CED): 0.8 - 3.175 mm (10 pieces, 0.8 mm, 1 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.6 mm, 1.8 mm, 2 mm, 2.4mm, 3mm, 3.175mm); Cutting Edge Length (CEL): 6 mm; Total Length: 38mm; Shank Diameter (SHK): 3.175mm
Cons
  • Requires Socket
