Well made stainless steel syringe; and a set of needles. . .Ideal for piercing roast and grilled meat. Easy to clean; and without much fuss. I found a very nice plastic storage case with a latch and lid to store the device and needles. I used my previous medical glass syringe for over 40 years (until "someone" stole it <smile>). I expect to get the same long-term performance from this device (I only need 25 years because I plan on "boxing it up"). when I turn 106 <smile>)
