Pretty but slippery

I have a vinyl lined pool. I used the suction cups but am disappointed as the next day the lights slipped from the side of the pool to to bottom floor. I think the lights are awesome but i don’t know how to get them to stay in place.

I glued these in my igloo cooler for night time nights, the suction seems like it works well, didnt work inside my cooler but I think thats because of the antimicrobial coating inside, but they are bright, the remote works well, cant go wrong
