It works, but you need to tweak a bit.

Edit: I last bought one of these in 2017 and it's time to buy another one. Unfortunately, there is no other choice but to continue replacing them. The motors in the mirrors draw too much current for this switch. Again, I just transferred the original left/right rocker switch to my new part and it works like new. This switch will fit most GM vehicles with a similar switch layout with very simple modifications requiring no cutting or filing. I couldn't find an exact switch replacement for my girlfriend's 2012 Malibu, even in the store, but this one works great. for now. For those who say the switch doesn't fit snugly in the bezel for the right/left selector switch, you're right, this one is way too big. All you have to do to fix this is gently pull out the top left/right rocker switch on your old and new and swap them. No matter which variant of this GM switch is installed in your vehicle, you can use your original parts to make this switch suitable. Use a small pocket or surgical flathead screwdriver to do this, and don't worry, it doesn't reuse any of the electrical contact parts in the switch, just the tactile, cosmetic part of the right/left selector switch. If you are skilled enough to replace the switch, you will have no problem with a minor operation on the switch itself. These switches often fail and the problem isn't with the switch itself. You'll need to buy more of these, but that doesn't mean this is a low-quality part. GM and some other manufacturers don't use a separate relay control circuit to control things like power mirrors and windows. They allow the switch to handle all the electrical flow needed to run cheap DC motors that draw too much current, causing the switch to heat up and melt the contacts.
