Installed on my 2013 F-150 XLT today. To get it right and follow the instructions for the tee, you'll need a 21mm deep socket and a torque wrench that holds 80 ft.lbs, among other things. (For the 2 bumper nuts that the step attaches to.) The instructions include a list of tools required. Anyway, this step looks, feels and feels very well done. I'm just over 200 pounds. and keeps me ok. If you're tired of getting in the pits of your F-150, then this is the ticket for you. It is spring loaded and extends and retracts very easily. You can manipulate it with your foot or hand very easily. There are cheaper options (other steps, ladders, etc.) but I think it's worth the money. I especially like that it uses existing bolts/nuts and requires no drilling. I think you will like it too.
