Pros: Despite being made in china, very easy to assemble+ extremely simple instructions with all tools you need provided. After reading reviews of this and similar desks I was very careful in assembling it. Took maybe around 2hrs in order to ensure the top of the desk alligned correctly and was completely level.Cons: desktop area workspace is slim and desktop is thin; doesnt seem to be able to support a whole lot of weight (Im 180lbs and im afraid to stand on this thing); frame is constructed with cheap metal that is hollow with quick (and questionable-looking) welding and if you overtighten will bend quite easily.Tips on assembly: DONT RUSH it. HAND TIGHTEN EVERYTHING AND DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.The threading for the bolts aint perfect so you can cross thread them easily. If you have an issue with the threads it may help to first screw the bolt in alone in order to ensure the holes are fully threaded as the threads on the bolt will cut threads in the hole.Like someone said, dont fully screw in every bolt for the frame part first and when youve got the full frame together then fully tighten each bolt. This allows you to correct for any misalignment of the parts which is especially important on top where the desktop parts sit since they need to be conpleteley level.Assembling the top part of the desk is where you want to be most careful. Again, only partially thread all the bolts in first so you can correctly align the top desk parts without a gap. If you just tighten every bolt after putting each in without leaving them loose first to get alignment correct like some brain cells on here, of course youre more likely to have a crappily finished prouct that exemplifies your expectations of chinese stuff.
