I like it very much so far. I haven't tried plugging in 2 headphones at the same time. I don't really need it, but the TV sound is great, so I'm very satisfied. My TV is 20 feet from the room, and after so many years of listening to music in my ears, it's difficult to distinguish a conversation from other noises at a distance. This gadget allows me to stream audio via portable Bluetooth right next to my bed so I can keep the volume down and not compete with the noise of other TVs around the house or disturb others while watching movies late at night. And with an optical cable, I practically get the effect of surround sound without the need for 3-5 speakers. The price for this was 30% cheaper than another seller offering the same features, so I agreed and was happy. He does what I need. Setup: When I first plugged it in, I noticed a lot of static electricity that seemed to come and go as I moved. I thought it might have something to do with TV interference, so I found a longer audio cable (it comes with a 6" or so cable holding the transmitter behind the TV) and sure enough the sound got clearer. If you have a TV hanging on the wall, you certainly don't want that little box hanging around, so you might need to get creative with where to place it so it doesn't look ostentatious. Note on volume. All televisions are manufactured differently, so they have different functions. The headphone jack allowed me to turn the volume up or down (but I couldn't hear any sound coming out of the TV's speakers - that makes sense). With the optical audio cable, I could hear the sound from the TV speakers and BT speaker simultaneously and in sync. What I could NOT do was control the volume of the BT speaker with the remote, so I had to switch the BT speakers to one with volume control. No problem, because I had it on hand. I haven't tried red and white audio cables. I also didn't try to charge while streaming. The instructions say it is possible, but some reviews of this and similar products say it will damage the battery. I don't mind charging it regularly. This little 2" x 2" box does what it says on the tin for the features I tried. For a little more money you might be able to find one that has a remote control to turn it on and off to save energy without getting up. As I write this review, I remember forgetting to turn mine off before leaving the house, so I'm sure it will be dead when I get back. OK. Let's see how long this lasts. I've already stopped taking it with no side effects. If the situation changes in the near future I will update this post as I do for other products.
