Sometimes the ink has a tendency to get stuck, but they work pretty well and don't dry if left uncapped. They do run out very quickly, but I used them for everything, so that may be the reason. I wish buying refills was an option because the pens are so cute that I feel bad throwing them away once they are used. The only major problem I have with these pens is that they stain everything: white coats and any fabric, so make sure to cap them even if you set them down for a little bit. A lot of my clothes and bedsheets have been permanently stained by these pens and it is very difficult to wash off of clothing.
