My 7 year old daughter has always HATED brushing her hair. She often gets tangled and I have to really convince her to let me work on the tangles. She brushes around the tangles when she "does it herself”. I gave his this brush and told her it’s meant for sensitive scalps. She LOVES it! It gets her tangles out effectively and she isn’t wincing in pain. She is super happy with having the ability to brush her hair smooth without the pain of a regular brush. Yay!

This brush, I’m sure, would work well for children a little older. My granddaughter is only one, but has very curly hair. We have to brush very lightly not to scratch her with the middle bristles.

This is a great brush and helps me brush out knots in my hair and my daughters hair. However, all the longer outer edge bristles have broken while using! I still Recommend since the brush works without those bristles.

To begin with, I have fine almost straight hair. My issue is that I have an immune disorder and all my skin including the scalp is very sensitive. So while my hair isn't hard to manage, I need a hairbrush with very soft bristles, that wouldn't pull my hair if it tangles a bit. I like the cover, and it does work. But the ends of the bristles are very scratchy, almost sharp. So I'm using this gently on my daughter's head. Her hair is still pretty short so maybe this would be better when her hair is long. I won't throw it out, but I don't love it. I feel like I should have just gotten a regular ball tipped bristle brush from a normal store.

I bought this to use on my two granddaughters hair. One of them has long hair and seems pretty tender-headed and the other one seems to be somewhat too. It doesn’t perfectly get all the tangles out, but it definitely helps some. I call it the gentle brush and they (especially the oldest) knows what I’m talking about.

I absolutely adore FridaBaby products. I love how gentle the brushes are on hair and scalps. My toddler barely notices me brushing her hair. I definitely notice when she uses it to brush my hair, but it's much less painful than other brushes. The brush is easy to wash if you have any product residue, and easy to get loose hairs out of as well. Love that it comes with a cover for travel.

My daughter has curly hair and this did not work as well as I thought it would. It seemed like a good brush since it was a little heavy, but after the 3rd use, it broke. Definitely not for think or curly hair :( great packaging though!

It was okay. Which was disappointing it didn't make it easier to brush my girls hair but like any other brush it eventually got the job done but I expected more because of some of the reviews raving about it but it really is just like any other brush.
