My baby has tightly coiled hair but I actually got the blue brush for straight hair and it works perfectly. He was born with a lot of hair and by the time he was 5 or 6 months old I needed a real brush that could work through the tangles but still be gentle on his baby scalp. The bristles on the straight hair brush and stiff enough to do the job but also flexible.

I purchased this in hopes of helping my chd with sensory issues not scream during her hair brushing in the morning. This is probably the worse brush I have ever purchased

This brush is by far the best I've bought for my sensitive 7 year Olds head! It busts through tangles no problem, she's so happy. The only complaint is the bristles are very hard & "pointy", so don't push too hard against the scalp while brushing. I use this brush for myself too. I'm definitely a fan!

Nice brush that is solid and leaves hair very smooth. I have long blonde hair that is fine but semi thick. I hoped I could use this brush as a more gentle option to the pick I use to comb out my hair when wet. It is not going to work for that - it cannot get through my hair to my scalp when it is wet. I really like this brush. My daughter has really thick tight curly hair. Her hair texture is on the courser side so running a brush through it is like pulling teeth. She is also autisic and HATES her hair being touched. So I thought I'd try this out. Honestly this brush is amazing. It glides through her hair with one stroke. My 2-year-old has thick unruly curls that her baby brush was too soft for and my mini bristle brush was too rough on, so I decided to try this and it works almost like magic. It doesn't matter if her hair is wet or dry- this brush gets the tangles out without pulling hair or scratching her scalp. She loves it, and after a year of fights when it was time to brush her hair, that is truly amazing. Definitely will be suggesting this to friends!

My little girl has very curly, thick hair. Her curls are the ringlet type. It still pulls her hair and isn't worth the hype. I can't tell much difference - it still pulls her hair. The good thing is the brush is large so it covers a larger surface area at a time, though. It might work better if the curls are not as tight/thick.

My toddler has really curly hair, and I loved the look of this brush. It also has a cover which is excellent for traveling. It gets through her curls pretty easily with some detangler. The one issue is the bristles are a little rough so if I am not careful I can hurt her scalp. Other than that, nice brush.

My daughter has really thick hair, while it's not the miracle brush I was hoping for it still is the best I've tried. Detangles really thick hair in half as many brushes and my daughter doesn't cry as much.

I really like this brush but I wish it was smaller. It’s too big for travel, even though the case makes it easier to throw in a bag without snagging other items. I like the cover but it’s designed in a way to not securely stay in place so it can collapse the bristles if you’re not careful. It also goes on the front and back which is a little confusing. All in all, I’m happy enough with it and it gets tangles out of my baby’s hair.

We’ve only had this for a short while and I’m impressed with it. It works great and untangles my daughters hair without the extreme pain the other brushes did.
