I really like this brush. My daughter has really thick tight curly hair. Her hair texture is on the courser side so running a brush through it is like pulling teeth. She is also autisic and HATES her hair being touched. So I thought I'd try this out. Honestly this brush is amazing. It glides through her hair with one stroke. It works better for her if it's wet or I put a cream in her hair but it works. I recommend brushing the full length of the brush and not the width, it detangles so much better. And bristles seem to be holding in place and not breaking off despite the birds nest it has to go through
