Review on Enhanced DOYOLLA Printing Filament: Ensuring Superior Dimensional Accuracy by Dan Chunn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall a good thread. Bad spool

Good filament. Has a glossy finish. I've had good results on the Ender 3 with 210°C heads and 40°C layers. My benchy results were pretty impressive. I'm deducting a star because of the terrible spool. The thread comes all the way to the edge, which means there will be ANY degree of slack and you'll have to deal with unraveling the thread. If you manage to use enough thread to create an "edge" so that the thread stays "in", you're done. Another thing is that the center spoke of the spool is where the piece of line sticks out, probably to hold it there while they wind it up. Not trimming the excess can cause misfeeds if you have a filament holder that goes right through the center of your spool. In fact, your extender must overcome this "hump". The center hole of the spool also has a groove that does the same thing. Overall a good thread. Bad coil.

  • 3D printing filament
Cons
  • Wrinkled
