WiFi or security settings cannot be updated. DO NOT BUY.
The product does not support changing the WiFi password after programming. Forget about updating your password regularly, as recommended by all major authorities (like the Cyberand Infrastructure Security Agency). Devices /TP Link and reprogramming from scratch. All names, groups, everything disappears after making changes to WiFi. In this era of cybersecurity and the Internet of Things, how can companies bring such an imperfect product to market? Until this is fixed I strongly advise against using Kasa Smart Plugs.
