Review on PZRT Aluminum Connector Fastener Extrusion by Chris Wheeler

I bought these fasteners to stiffen some of the joints on my CR10. To my surprise, they were a lot harder than I expected. Different aluminum alloys have different properties, and ductility is a trade-off. The extra rigidity was ideal for my application. I don't want to flex, I want the joints to stay in place with vibration and sway. They are also easy to drill. I used one of these off-brand by cutting it in half, drilling and turning it into a makeshift mount for the BLTouch sensor. This mount was easy to use and met all the requirements perfectly. The only possible flaw I can think of is a key bar that might help align it in the aluminum channel. The few places I didn't need it I simply sanded it down with a Dremel with minimal effort.
