We can't say enough about these high waist swim shorts. The side ties and ruffles give them the slight edge of standing out as swim trunks, while still looking like shorts! High waist and fabric perfectly hide the tummy. Paired with a bikini top or a bathing tunic, you no longer have to be ashamed on your next trip to the beach or bathing! I'm 5ft 6" and 167lbs - L fits me perfectly. My daughter is 5'9" and 175 - she also has an L. Hope this helps!
