When I was a kid my parents bought us sleeping bags that were made of polyester and nice flannel inside. I don't think you could have gone to the Himalayas with them but they were warm despite manufactured circa 1980. Well, fast forward to 2020 and I would expect materials technology as well as manufacturing to at least advanced with lighter and better manufacturing. Regretfully, it hasn't at least with this product. Well, fast forward to 2020 and I would expect materials technology as well as manufacturing. I bought these sleeping bags for the family as we started to get into camping/glamping during the COVID issues. Our first experience with it was in Early August where it was humid as all can be. The bags served at least well enough to keep us warm in the later night but too hot to use. I would give it a pass. The second time was in mid-September and we were in a covered tent. The bags performed poorly. I was in shorts and a t-shirt the first night. Not warm enough. Shame on me. The second night, I had a down vest and I had this strange chill on my back. Couldn't explain the feeling but the bag didn't do well for me.The bag is nicely woven and comes in a nice case and has nice colors but you need to wear things underneath to maintain body temperature. The bag itself is very large. You cannot use this for a bug out scenario or for a 3-5 day primitive camping/hunting excursion. You cannot carry this underneath a backpack and it will not fill one unless that's all you want to carry. In retrospect, I would look for a higher quality bag. if you are serious about your camping equipment (which now we are since we have been camping with the family each week) I would look to get a down bag and one that packs down really small.
