Cat opens cupboards?

My cat and I had trouble opening kitchen cabinets to sniff out or rummage through the trash can (located in the cupboard under the counter). We bought several similar magnetic locks in the store, which seemed "weak” to us. There is no strong attraction to her. I decided (and crossed my fingers) that I would try them out as a last resort (unlike the ones that "snap" into each other, I was surprised at how strong the magnet was. I installed them for a couple of weeks and I... still love them! No more cat problems! Worth the money!
