I honestly wish someone would have given one of these to me when I first started crocheting 10 years ago. I just bought each hook/tool for each project. This would have saved me a ton of money AND kept my stuff organized.The hooks are exactly like the ones that you get at the store. I like that it has a set of standard and a set of steel hooks (for lace and thread crochet) but I’m not sure the steel hooks are something I’d give a beginner. Small work like that can be extremely frustrating. Everything else is perfect! Open AND closed stitch markers (really great for making animals or intricate patterns where count really matters). I also love the selection of blunt needles! A full set of steel and plastic AND they come in a little storage bottle. That in itself is awesome- I can’t count how many yarn needles I’ve lost over the years.
