Blades don't have to be sharp enough. The first 3 mangoes I cut were great. The last two just mashed them up and didn't cut through the skin, assuming they weren't as hard as the first few, just a bit more ripe, but definitely not too soft to be cut regularly with a knife. UPDATED. Tries. With an apple it's just a total duty, the pressure is insane. I absolutely couldn't take it. The tomatoes were a joke too. Don't waste money. I wish I hadn't.
