The holes in the bit holder don't catch the bits at all. If you drop the bit holder, the bits would fly all over the place. All they hold in the bit holder are VERY weak magnets. Turn it upside down and shake it slightly and your bits will fall out. GRRR! NOT impressed with this bit holder as is. It's an overpriced and almost useless bit holder. 2 upgrades that make it great. 1. GRIP the drills against the walls of each hole. O-ring in each hole, just a smaller hole so the bits should go in, not down, everything will work.2. STRONG magnets inside to hold bits and no magnetic base. The only place this magnetic base will work is on a smooth steel surface. Otherwise he only collects pieces of steel. Storing bits in a holder is practically useless.
