Great idea and works to keep the table the perfect distance from the wall.
Not too flashy and easy to adjust for wall clearance. Installation can be simplified by adding a swivel joint between the clamp rod and lag screw. Once the side of the clamp is in contact with the table surface, it becomes difficult to rotate and prevent the clamp from moving. Another improvement could make the device less bulky and even more unobtrusive.
