Frustrating for Computer Components

This PSU worked fine for the first seven months or so. Now it seems like the Eco mode isn't working reliably anymore. The fan is supposed to turn on when needed to prevent the device from overheating, but sometimes the PC turns off instead. If I switch the computer on again shortly after the spontaneous shutdown and switch off the eco mode, the fan runs at a very high speed and pushes out a lot of hot air. When I boot the system with Eco mode off, I find the fan to be quite loud. I have a G2 and a G3 and am very happy with them but this one was disappointing. I am considering an RMA.
