later At first I was busy ordering this or some other non-OEM part. In addition to many good reviews, there were also many negative reviews. In this case, however, I had no choice. OEM parts were ordered from every repair shop I checked, and I had a miserable family with a lot of laundry. After opening the part, I examined the coil and mounts and found everything was fine. The only complaint I had was that one of the pins on the frame was slightly bent. I figured it wasn't so bad that something wasn't working and proceeded with the installation. It fitted the frame perfectly and then I worked hard to put the frame back in the dryer. After a few days of work, it works perfectly. There was a burning smell for some time, but it quickly disappeared. Aside from a slight bend in the needle, I couldn't be happier with this purchase (and $50 richer too, not counting the labor required to repair it). As much as my luck will change I will try to update this review.
