I like this jacket. This helps my dog retain more body heat in snow and rain. My dog has a thin coat, just a coat. He's also quite bald in the armpits. He freezes pretty easily when it's raining or snowing outside so we really wanted a jacket for him so he can spend more time outdoors. This jacket has a nice fleece lining. The outer material is waterproof and the reflective tape works well at night. The collar of the jacket can either be turned down as shown in the photo or turned up, but we always keep it down. When the collar is up, it interferes with the leash when it hooks onto our dog's collar. I also think he is bothered by the constant feeling of something rubbing against his neck and not his collar. Good investment; I think it's worth the money. Sizing can be tricky for some, especially if you have a mixed breed like us, it doesn't fit into any of the suggested breed and jacket size categories. I would recommend finding one of these jackets at a pet store, looking at them and finding the right size for your dog. Then you can order the right size here at Revain and save about $10.
