Review on Pentek 158110 Clear Filter Housing by Bernardino Suazo

I have replaced my old solid brown canister with the clear bottom of this new model so I can see and visually monitor any buildup or debris inside. It fitted perfectly and bolted onto my existing 10 year old unit under my sink! Very durable and well made, I'm glad I switched, now I feel more confident being able to see what I'm drinking. Highly recommended ! Check editing. It's been a few months with my new clear canister filter and I'm facing a complete rejection of this product including a horrible flood that cost me thousands of dollars in damage. I didn't realize how much more fragile a transparent font is compared to a monochromatic font. The crack formed late at night while everyone was sleeping and woke up to a full flood as water seeped through the ceiling and destroyed my basement! Beware of this product, it can happen to you without warning.
