Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ JAYO PLA 3D Printing Filament by Dustin Citizen

Great filament and easy to print

PLA should be the easiest filament to print and this one is no different. I used the same settings as SUNLU PLA+ and it worked great. I am using a Sovol SV01 direct drive printer with the following settings: .4 nozzle.2 layer height 215 print temperature 65 layer temperature 45 mm/s print speed. It turned out perfect with almost no stretch. Being PLA, it was durable and had very good layer adhesion. Maybe I just got lucky with the setup the first time, but sometimes when I tried to print the same thing with different filaments I immediately ran into problems. But with this thread, the screen, like walls, was strong and did NOT crack or fall apart when I put moderate pressure on it. My first impression when I took the roll out of the box was... PERFECT! I love cutting open a new spool of filament and hearing the air being sucked into the airtight bag. Believe it or not, I've come across many skeins that weren't packaged in a fully sealed pouch. Then I noticed that the filament was not as shiny as all other PLAs (PLA, PLA+, SPLA) from SUNLU. I've attached some images to show how it looks when compressed with SUNLU SPLA and PLA+. I like the matte look but in the end after printing my first test it wasn't matte. It's normal, but I was hoping it might be. Maybe lowering the print temperature will affect the final product? I have yet to test whether this is the case. At this point, the final product still delivers a brilliant print with my current settings.
