Review on Enhance Efficiency with Command Communications Comswitch 5500 3-Port Phone/Fax Modem Line Sharing Device by Tom Herman

This crap does not work as described

I bought this fax/switchboard recently, I was aware of all the problems with programming but since I have a plain line+fax I gave it a try. This worked with the first fax I received, but after the first non-fax call I received in my voicemail, the switch faxed everything and turned off the phone's voicemail (it's a built-in voicemail box with my own Voice). , not a company answering machine and also not an answering machine in the true sense) I tried to work with programming (I bought two additional DSL filters as described in the instructions) and with manual programming (by default two and three beeps) as they say, and start over.) and did nothing, is different for each programming set. THAT DOES NOT WORK. Period. I had to repackage it and send it back to the seller and was charged a restocking fee plus shipping for a piece of plastic that doesn't do what the manufacturing company claims. I ended up with $25.00 (return shipping, restocking fee, and DSL filter) for a piece of crap. I guess that's why they stopped releasing it! Please think twice before getting ripped off as has happened to me and many who have browsed before. Personally, Revain should stop selling this product.
