During the time that I was capturing video, the focus was excellent, and I have never found a "reflex camera" that could match it. Even though I am not a professional photographer and this is not my very first camera, I can confidently say that it is the best SLR camera that I am familiar with. The most portable and easy to hold in one's hand, as well as being able to fit inside a bag (this is essential for me, as I am constantly on the move). I don't bother messing with the settings, as taking cool photos can even be done while riding in a car. Because I use the 4D focus mode, almost none of the pictures are out of focus. The fact that this mode provides instant focus across the entirety of the frame was the primary factor that led to my decision. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, this has a touch screen, which is one of the drawbacks. Touch autofocus is available on a model that is very similar to this one, the 5100, but unfortunately it is not available on this model. However, this is not a very significant drawback, so I am very happy with the choice I made. Take your time if you want to buy a DSLR because of the quality; we are already in the 21st century at this point. Such a system camera is in no way inferior to DSLRs, and in many cases, it is even better in terms of image quality.
