Definitely high waisted
I knew this would be high waisted, but this was SUPER high. Having said that, if you have some extra cushioning on your lower back, it'll roll down. So I do, and I had to return. Fabric was cute, I got the blue/green aztec looking pattern and it was super cute, bright colors. Had this been maybe 2in shorter, I would keep. I wear a 16 in jeans/pants, and got the 2x. I would recommend, but not for the ladies w/the extra love in the back. ;)
