I did 2 simple media center builds. Both used the 8th generation i3 processor. I bought Asrock for $50 and this one for $57. This one was only bought because I accidentally grabbed 2 different ASRock boards from another vendor (the second supported Gen 8 didn't). It was sent the same day so that's a positive. Big difference between the builds. The ASRock board was solid with some high-end features like decent heatsinks, intuitive cable connections (like routing sata connections). Schematic Gigabyte was junk, panel connectors as the letters on the board are so small. not even included. This fee is the REASON I build my own and don't buy pre-made ones. unwanted components. Other Cons: Half as many SATA ports. USB 3.0 The pins on the board were rubbish. No more gibabyte for me. However, everything is fine. I can't see any SSD but I'm sure I'll sort it out.
