An inexpensive way to get a Cannon Lake processor into your system.

Bought this motherboard to build an inexpensive workstation for my work as a pharmacist. I paired it with an i3 8100 and two 4GB Patriot Signature 2666MHz RAM and everything worked exactly as expected. The board gave me no problems installing it. CPU and RAM are detected and work fine at first boot. It's a very humble board with a few bells and whistles, but it's all I need. All connections were relatively well labeled. I had a bit of a mix up with the power supply and LEDs on the front panel…

DOA, nothing to say

Looks like a great price. I'm pretty sure it's not Gigabyte's fault, it's something in the shipping. I have had many of their products and love them. I'm not sure who is to blame for this situation, but I would still buy Gigabyte products again. I originally bought it for i3-8300 quad core with 16GB DDR4 2466 RAM and onboard video. It's not really a hardcore gaming motherboard, gaming has become more of a buzzword these days. This board is more suited to a cheap, modern office computer that can

Works great with internals

Build quality looks good. Pretty good performance and features. Installation was easy. The standoffs and backplate (included) fit nicely into the Antec VSK3000 case I'm using. All mobo mounting holes are aligned with the posts. The power supply cables (Antec EarthWatts EA-380D) can be connected very easily. SATA cables, RAM (Ballistix Sport LT 8GB BLS2K4G4D240FSB) and processor (i3-8100) are also easy to connect. No problems on first boot. I didn't get into the BIOS - it wasn't necessary…

I liked the motherboard because it has everything you need and.

First of all, when the motherboard was turned on, there was a problem with the bios, but the problem was solved by an update from the official Gigabyte site on firmware F3 and set the boot -Function to main screen"Cancel"! I liked the motherboard because it has everything you need and what you don't need isn't there! For example, the Intel i219v HDMI Displayport network card, which is less common on budget motherboards! To advise!

Pros
  • GOLS is certified
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it is written

Poor value for money - as cheap as they are - look elsewhere

I did 2 simple media center builds. Both used the 8th generation i3 processor. I bought Asrock for $50 and this one for $57. This one was only bought because I accidentally grabbed 2 different ASRock boards from another vendor (the second supported Gen 8 didn't). It was sent the same day so that's a positive. Big difference between the builds. The ASRock board was solid with some high-end features like decent heatsinks, intuitive cable connections (like routing sata connections). Schematic…

  • Good product for the price
