I have a lot of classic cars and sometimes the brakes are insufficient. After reading an article in Car Craft I realized how important actual hydraulic pressure is and I need to be able to measure it. With this tool I can diagnose my problem more precisely. I have only used it once on my 1979 Ford F-150 4X4. I replaced all parts of the braking system and still had to stand on the brakes to stop the truck. My brake pressure was only 1000psi. I changed the booster again for a better brand and also the master cylinder. Right now I'm at 1800psi. Brakes are like new. FYI: I bought this truck new in October 1978. Next is my 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL 427 with manual DRUM BRAKES.
