This fan sounds like an airplane engine

This fan looks decent, but the performance is terrible. I had a handyman install it and it ran well enough. That night my husband turned it on while I was sleeping and I winced thinking it was the alarm on my phone! We can't keep this fan running at night when we really need it because it literally sounds like an airplane engine (no exaggeration), even if we're both very sound sleepers. Now the wizard needs to come back, uninstall it and install a new fan (a different brand and model, of course). What an expensive mistake it was to buy this fan.
