Do not buy these sheets! I have a feeling this must be a scam due to the possibility of misdescription. I will try to explain why I say this based on my experience. I've been buying sheets for our family for 20 years and I'm always doing a lot of research. I usually buy between 400 and 1200 thread counts based on other factors related to the type of cotton etc. Thread count is not necessarily the most important factor in good quality sheets but in my experience 1000 thread counts should mean good quality Egyptian cotton . I don't think these sheets are 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton. Of course I could be wrong and I have no technical or qualified way to measure this. Let's start with the fact that they are very thin! I can't stress this enough and the two photos of the bottom sheet don't really show how much they "see through" but you can clearly see the pattern on my mattress. Softness is okay, no need to worry, but they aren't crunchy and hard. I've washed them twice as directed and found that the sheets get softer after a few washes. The problem is they are not as soft as my other old sheets. I have an old set of 600 and 1000 white sheets that are much thicker and much softer. Not as white as they used to be, these sets are around 3 and 5 years old. Finally, the description says the bags are 18 inches. Again, I can't believe this is true. I bought a new 14" deep mattress. I constantly pull the various corners of these sheets down around the corner. At least one corner falls off each night, reaching half the thickness of the mattress. The sides of the mattress are also visible between the corners In other words, the sheets aren't big enough or translucent enough to fit under both sides of a 14" thick mattress. Honestly, you'll get sheets of similar quality if you buy a set for around $40 or even a cheap one Buy a set from Target or Walmart.Either this company is selling bad sheets and writing false descriptions on Revain or this ad is a scam and not the real company selling the sheets.By the way I messaged the company and gave them enough time to to reply before I submit this review They did not reply.
