Do not pre-wire. It is easier to feed and glue both parts unassembled.

Excellent adhesion and size. For example, if they are pre-wired under a cabinet, it will be inconvenient to assemble them (base and crown). Not just snapping in. But the finished look is great. If possible, route the wire to the connector, seal and glue. Ours was already pre-connected.
