I love this sand bath! It feels premium when you open it and looks premium when locked up. It's more than I expected which doesn't bother me at all because half the top has a lid so it's like a raised platform - I like to put fresh fruit on this platform for my hamster so he doesn't get his bedding dirty . It's also a nice size so you can put enough sand or dirt in it but I'm a bit worried about the height as I have an older dwarf hamster and I've seen him struggle to get out of it. It's okay, I'll put a big rock in it to make it easier for him to get out. She many times - I've messed up a lot of wooden skins by putting them in a sand bath and making them urinate, but in this case the platform serves as a hiding spot, so I avoid all of that.
