So I wasn't thrilled that they didn't fill up like other reviewers but I looked at the BB tube I was and it holds up the same volume, sooooo. I use them personally and for gifts not for sale and I am happy with the quality and performance. I melted my recipe in a Pyrex glass measuring cup and pressed the test tubes against the bottom of an egg carton. Can't say it was without chaos, but actually not bad.
