Finally effective protection without fluoride!

Grind is the first hydroxyapatite toothpaste I've ever tried and I don't think I'll be back! It leaves my teeth clean and shiny without irritating my gums or mouth. Many name brand toothpastes will dry out your mouth or cause a mild skin reaction, but this one cleans gently and effectively. No sulfates, parabens, peroxides or other harsh chemicals - instead, it's packed with nourishing, natural ingredients. The mint flavor is pleasant and refreshing, but not too spicy. What sealed the deal for me was reading the research on the effects of hydroxyapatite versus fluoride. Both are equally effective at protecting teeth from cavities and cavities, but hydroxyapatite (unlike fluoride) is biomimetic, meaning it's the same compound the body uses to naturally repair tooth enamel. There is a decent amount of research supporting its use for dental health and I'm really not sure why it isn't more popular in American toothpastes! Many natural/fluoride-free toothpastes don't select ingredients that prevent tooth decay in the same way, and the handful that do are expensive and hard to come by. If you're used to high-whitening toothpastes, the activated charcoal in this formula won't give you the same "glowing" effect, but I've found it to be very effective at removing stains from teeth over time. It's also a bit more expensive than most drugstore brands, but I'm happy to pay more for a product with an ingredient list that I understand and can trust. SPECIALLY for a product I put in my mouth twice a day. Hope it's back in stock soon, I really don't want to switch to anything else!
