BUY MORE SCREWS BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION! The ones that come with the light are literally not long, the light cannot be installed with them! My husband (the general contractor who installs the lights all the time) was about to trash the light after spending over 2 hours in frustration trying to install it. Eventually he went to Lowe's and bought a pair of 3" bolts and nuts and about 10 minutes later mounted the light fixture to the ceiling. It took about 20 more minutes of clumsy, frustrating fumbling to get the glass diffuser in place and screw the metal piece in place, but it eventually worked. There are many shortcomings in the assembly and installation process that the manufacturer must take into account and correct. And send along screws that actually install the product, for goodness sake! When the light is on it looks nice and very bright, no light enters from the top or the sides, although the diffuser is slightly smaller than the light frame. But as good as the light looks, we will never buy it again due to the hassle of assembling it. We grimace at the thought of having to remove the diffuser and try to put it back on every time we have to risk a bulb.
