Hello! This was used to wire between my Furrion single din stereo on the camper deck and the external speakers. You can use the deck and fader to adjust the attenuation and turn the internal or external speakers on and off. BUT. Every time you turn the RV master switch to the "OFF" position, the deck will reset and your external speakers will be "ON" if you forget to turn the fader all the way up. This switch ensures that I never have to adjust the fader again or forget it. Now I just leave the switch off and never again turn on the radio, stereo, or movie outside for all to hear. When I want to play music outside, just turn ON. YUP!
