I was stuck with this stupid broken key and didn't want to spend another $200 when all the parts came except this stupid plastic case. Then I kind of see this popup on my Amazon feed and I can't click 'Buy' fast enough. The package arrived and was very easy to install. The hardest thing for me to figure out was that my old screw got stuck in a key part and I had to remove it before putting the plastic case on top. There are no instructions in the box so come back here and look at the product images as the company has placed them all there. Everything should be consistent and not forced. So if you need to force this, you might be doing something wrong. It fits snugly so make sure it's clean. In my case I had some glue I had previously tried to fix my od case with that I had to sand down first. Also, do not overtighten the screw. It should be snug but too big and you will potentially strain the plastic and cause it to break on the road. The screw is a fastener and a barrier to the key falling out, but it does not need iron tightening to work. I wish you success! This is the cheapest key repair I've seen and well worth it.
