Bought this for my son for Christmas in November, checked it was charged when I opened it up, restarted it and packed it for Christmas. He opens it and loves it to death. Today is January 4th, 2021. Out of the blue the damn thing decided to freeze. He was stuck in a photo he took of his sister and it was impossible to turn it off. The buttons (including the tiny reset button above the charging port) didn't respond when pressed, so I used my mother's magic and managed to turn them off. Switched on, no longer hung up but memory card not read. I cleaned the memory card slot but it still won't read. I put in a spare card I have at home and she read it. The dinosaur map stopped working causing the camera to crash. My son took a lot of photos and videos because he loves taking photos of his toy dinosaurs and picking up random things around the house. I don't know what broke the card, the heat from the camera on, the card was originally broken but it's broken. Inserted into the reader and connected to the computer. It said the card needed to be formatted, a quick format was not possible. I highly recommend getting a second card just in case that happens (or just in case your child fills out the card and you don't want to sit and look through all of them to find the best ones you can use right away can keep). Overall this is a good little camera that fits my son's hands perfectly and is easy to use.
