Bought to solve two things I hate about Zippos; the fuel constantly evaporates and does not always have a sufficiently powerful flame; I figured a butane insert would be perfect and would also allow me to maintain a soft flame. It doesn't contain much butane at all. I hardly ever use my Zippo and I still run out of fuel just as quickly if not faster than the OG use. But I suspect that it is because it burns faster. Still. Less flame time. It's also TERRIBLE in the wind. You won't realize how good Zippo's windproof design is until you try something else. If it's even a little windy outside, forget using this thing. Thought the flames would be strong enough to overcome it, but. I do not think so. Pretty useless for those who use Zippo as fire starters and similar for outdoor activities. I was very excited about it, but it's really not impressive. As long as there is no wind, he can easily light a cigar. but that's all.
