I bought this lighter because I wanted a stylish yet versatile Zippo lighter. As a fan of the 420 this lighter made a lot of sense to me, the soft flame is good for lighting the reels and the jet flame is good for heating up the rig. It also makes a lot of sense as an all-purpose lighter that works like a two-in-one lighter for the survival type. The fact that it's pressurized butane means you don't have to refill it every 5 days, which I can't stand for standard Zippo lighter fluid cartridges.

So far so good, will be writing a review of the updates in a month or 2 but so far on the first day I like it I've gotten 2 in case one breaks or a Defect is, but both work really very well. Edit: I like this lighter but not as a windproof lighter but I found it required a strong flame and worked slightly better. Some of them don't need such a big flame. I like the materials and it seems to hold the right amount of liquid. The brass body is great because plastic tanks will warp and become brittle after years of filling, which helps it last a long time. Flint, on the other hand, is rough and needs replacing. If you use this inside in totally "dead air" it takes 3 to 8 if not many more strokes to ignite a soft flame and after it ignites blows 3 out of 4 tries, a jet -Flame to start, the soft flame just off. it doesn't burn at all! I bought this insert for my Zippo bag because I thought the combination of soft flame and jet flame could be conveniently combined in one lighter.
