Review on πŸ’† Pain Relief Made Easy: Handheld Percussion Back Massager for Deep Tissue Massage by Amanda Gardner

A worthy successor to the Panabrator

It's a shame when great devices are no longer available. Such was the case recently with the popular Panasonic Panabrator or Easy Reach handheld massager that has served generations of men as faithfully as the Hitachi Magic Wand has served women. That means there was excellent relief, in addition to loosening the muscles! When one of my two Panabrators recently broke after years of use (yes, I have a spare), I tried the Wahl handheld massager. This pathetic specimen failed after only three days - a pity! So after a lot of reading and comparing I settled on this massager from a company called InvoSpa that I have never heard of. At the time of writing this, the machine satisfies my needs perfectly and gets my...um, thumbs up. Firstly, it offers several different massage modes. Of course, these aren't complex computerized sequences - just turning the engine on and off at different times. However, the on/off momentum is quite strong and brings something new to the table that was missing from the Panabrator and Wahl. . Second, the machine is equipped with six screw heads designed to massage different parts of the body. They have a durable feel and you're sure to find a finish that suits your application. Third, the massager has ten motor speeds and not two easy settings like the Panabrator. Fourth, the device is quite quiet in operation and powerful. Its percussive massage is "deaf" than Panasonic's vibration massage. Fans know that plug-in massagers offer the most powerful massage ever, and you never have to worry about changing batteries or having to charge in the middle of "therapy." The icing on the cake is that the InvoSpa has an LED window that confirms which mode and speed you've selected, making it easy to set your preferred settings at the start of a massage. My only small issue is that the LED box lights up when the vibrator is plugged in. It would be better if the LED turns off when you turn off the device so you don't have to turn off the device. will InvoSpa prove it? It's a $40 question. I will let you know if I run into any problems. So far, so good. UPDATE: This massager still works like a champ. I should also mention that it's great for muscle pain and also for the purpose I bought it for. Last night I sprained my elderly neck while reaching for something - ouch! I was expecting hours of pain, but I pulled out that trusty hammer, put it against my neck for a minute or so - and the pain was gone! This is very impressive and proves that a percussion massager is much more effective than a simple vibration massager. Highly recommended! Pros: * 12 different massage modes. * 6 different massage heads. * 10 engine speeds. * Powerful percussion massage. * Relatively quiet operation. * LED window shows mode and speed settings. * Nice long power cord. CONS: * The LED window stays on when the device is connected to the network.
