My Boston Terrier was spayed Monday. She started fighting her comfy cone as soon as she came out of the anesthesia. She hates her life jacket, sweaters & even her collar, so this is not surprising.She also had a lot of post-anesthesia nausea, & that is not easy when your pet is wearing a cone.I ordered this onesie Monday afternoon. It was at my house by Tuesday afternoon.It fits my dog perfectly (size M for a 20 lb dog with a big chest,”It is very soft & has some stretch to it. The Velcro tabs are big, but don’t scratch her belly. It completely covers her incision & she can’t lick or scratch the area.Once I got it over her head & attached the tabs, she adjusted to it quickly. It is also easy to unhook the tabs, pass them around her legs & reattach the Velcro so she can do her business without removing the onesie.This morning I did remove it to quickly send it through the gentle cycle. It dried fast on extra low heat.It was a nice, chilly morning; what we humans refer to as "sweatshirt weather.” Maggie did not agree & was shivering a little. I carried the onesie along while I took Maggie out, intending to put it on as soon as she did her business.She started pawing at the onesie as we walked. I finally got the message & stopped to put the onesie back on her. She sat still the entire time, which is really out of character for this super-energetic puppy. Once it was on, she trotted off toward the house. I’m going to say Maggie likes it!
