I have purchased several recovery suit for my male dog before the surgery and this one seems to be the best amount others. The main reason is that other will not fully cover the male genital and will most likely allow them access to the wound.The design of this suit allow full coverage of genital area like a diaper and stopped my male dog from licking after we got him neutered. My 6 month old labradoodle is a very active girl and I knew a cone was going to be a nightmare after her spay. I was hoping this onsie would work and I am so happy I went with it. She is 35 pounds and I got a Large and it fits well. It doesn't fit her shoulders perfectly, but it's not a big deal at all. It is stretchy so you can adjust it. She doesn't even act like she knows she's wearing it and can move around like normal, which is the best part.

This was a great little surgery suit for my pup post spay. After being told by the vet that surgical suits needed to not be fitted to prevent rubbing of the incision site, I found this suit. It fit with room to breathe (and not rub on the incision), but it also gave plenty of opportunity to cover her incision. The only con was that it stretched out pretty quickly. It still worked well, we just laughed at my pup as it looked like she had a low riding g-string lol

I used this after my mini golden doodles neuter. Two versions of the donut did not work, but this was perfect! I used this during the day, super easy to roll up for potty time. I did use the cone at night, when I couldn't monitor him, but that was just being super cautious as after day 2, he didn't even try to lick the area. My pup is rather long, but this fit perfect. I have recommended to many others.

It fit my pup perfectly at first. I noticed after she went potty and I put it back on her she would dribble a bit on the suit. I wanted to prevent a UTI so I washed it and it shrunk :( it still fits but it is so tight lengthwise that it wont stay velcro-ed together.Other than that the velcro part made it super easy to keep the whole suit on her and let her use the bathroom.I guess just read the washing directions first or spot clean it.

I just got this for my Golden Retriever- and it does run small. I got the 2XL for her and the neck slides down to her shoulders so I have to keep pulling it up…it is snug width wise but that’s good.
