Review on Inflatable boat Intex Challenger-3 (68370) yellow by Michal Wjcik ᠌

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

Recently tried a boat on the river. The boat consists of two cylinders - internal and larger, external, plus, the inflatable floor is inflated separately. Cylinders are equipped with Boston-type valves - it is a pleasure to inflate and deflate air from them. Two balloons inflate in a maximum of 10 minutes. The same amount is spent on inflating the floor, since a conventional valve is installed there, as on a beach air mattress. Apparently, the manufacturer decided that installing a few extra plastics in the form of a Boston valve on the floor would be an unjustified luxury. The inflated boat, on his shoulder, holding it with one hand, easily launched into the water from a seven-meter steep bank. The cans are inflatable, in the form of pillows and are not fixed to the floor in any way, but, surprisingly, it turned out to be comfortable to sit. The boat comfortably accommodates two adults and a couple of bags between their legs, or, alternatively, instead of a bag, closer to the one sitting at the stern, you can put a child. As I soon realized, hard oarlocks installed on the boat are not the best option. When moving, the oars rub on the surface of the cylinders and touch the fasteners closest to the oarlocks. The oars that come with the kit are short by 20-30 centimeters. In general, if you need to sail 50-100 meters from the shore in order to fish in the middle of the pond, then there is no problem. And if you plan to row a kilometer or more, then you should think about how to lengthen the oars and install rotating oarlocks.

Pros
  • Light, strong and stable boat at a reasonable price.
Cons
  • Not very comfortable oarlocks. The paddles included are short.
