To get the best results from your new speakers you may need to cross the - with + connections. And + k-. This happened to me while upgrading the speakers for my 2020 Ram 1500. I changed the connections because the factory speakers are built differently. So if you use them directly you will miss the sound (the speaker will go down when it should be moving up). You can check the polarity connections (-+) of your speakers before connecting new ones. I recommend testing both speakers with a 9V battery. OEM and replacement. They should move the same way. This has happened to me with Polk Kenwood and even Pioneer speakers.
