The grill stone is far superior to any brush. First, grill brushes are notorious for leaving metal bristles behind, which are extremely dangerous. These bristles can get stuck in the roof of the mouth, tongue, or other soft tissue locations in the mouth. And if swallowed, surgery may be needed to remove it. It happens, it can happen. I would never endanger my family with a grill brush. In addition, the Grill Stone cleans the grill grates much better than a brush. Just remember to wipe the "dust" off the stone leaves with oiled paper towels. Highly recommended.
